i recently got this car so i'm still trying to figure out how to fully work it.the headlights seem to always be on. there are three levels of brightness and the lowest level, which is like a yellow light as opposed to the bright white lights of the other two levels. is this normal? can i turn off the yellow light during the day? if so, how?

Those are the daytime running lights (DRLs) that are on during the day. Its normal. You could pull the DRL fuse to keep it from coming on, but then you have an annoying DRL light on your dash. But, yes, overall its normal. I switched to some bluish tint bulbs to try to make it "not so yellow" but still looks pretty yellowish.

All of the new Honda and Acura models come standard with daytime running lights (DRL's) as an added safety feature. You're more visible to other cars with the low wattage bulb, but that's why they are yellow. There is a way to turn off the DRL's, you can disconnect it by removing the fuse, but the warning light will come on from the dash. Or, just change the bulbs to a whiter color.
