I bought an certified pre-owned '05 MDX for my wife a few months ago, and it's about time to take it in for an oil change. I'm wondering:1) Will taking it to a non-Acura service center void any/all of the CPO warranty?2) I bought the car at a dealership which is over an hour away. There's another Acura dealership within minutes of my house. Will the closer dealer do all the scheduled maintenance (while keeping the warranty in-tact), or do I have to take it to where I bought it?3) What can I expect from Acura service departments in terms of trustworthiness and comparative price? any acura dealer will do the maintenance (including warranty work) There are good and bad acura dealers. (like any other business) I own a 06 tsx that I bought and try to have it serviced at a dealer in Pa. I live in NC and there is a dealer near me that is terrible. You can have the service done at a non-acura dealer or do it yourself. Just keep all the service receipts to show it was done.

Any dealer will honor your certified pre-owned vehicle warranty and any shop can do your maintenance, you must keep all your records in case an issue comes up.Try out the local dealer you might like the service, and they are more likely to find any problems that are covered before the warranty is up.plus the parts don't just fit your car, they were made for it.
