no diagnostic connector for engine management on 89 integra, this car uses a flashing light emitting diode mounted inside the engine management computer and visible through a little window on it's casing. this computer is located under the passenger toe boardcodes are a Straight count up til code 10 then becomes 10's and 1'sexample's [flash...flash...flash equals a code 3 .flash......flash...flash...flash equals a code 13 etc.note the codes will repeat so when multiple codes are present you will have to watch the pattern for a while in order to pick up the sequencetip write down the flash each time it occurs spacing the marks as the light flashes doing this will help keep track of multiple codesif memory serves a continous even flashing indicates no code and a continous on but no flash indicates a computer check sum error requiring replacement of the computer.good luck with this and be patient.
