so i am trying to figure out how to take the dash apart because i am trying to install my own head unit and take the factory radio/cd part out. please, i need some help!my husband is going to help me remove it. he gutted his whole explorer with no problem but he wants to make sure he does it right with out messing up the interior. so anybody who has done this before, just let share how you did so! thanks!

Go to the dealer and buy a service manual.

you don't need to take out the whole dash to install a new head unit. want to know how to do the easy way? well here you go: http://www.team-integra.net/sections...ticleID=42dont do more work than you need to. is this your first install? if so be sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal. go to best buy or your preferred car audio place and get a harness then wire it up according to the harness and radio. your gonna need crimps and a crimper to wire it up. there should be no need to cut any of the wireshope that helps you some
