make this sound? how can I stop the creaking sound?

A little more detail would help to answer this question... let's see if we can zero in on some likely causes though:First, with the engine running, transmission in neutral, and the clutch pedal fully up, the clutch should be fully engaged and making a solid connection from engine to transmission input shaft. No noise should emanate from the clutch in this configuration.If the engine is idling, transmission is in any gear, and the clutch pedal is depressed: In this cofiguration, the engine can idle without being connected to the transmission because the clutch is disengaged. At this point, the clutch release bearing is spinning against a spinning engine. This clutch release bearing sits idle whenever the clutch pedal is fully up.I believe any creaking noise you hear must be coming from this clutch release bearing.The problem with this is that you might as well replace the clutch at the same time since it takes almost the same amount of work!See item #2 in the link provided.
