take it to a shop and have them show you where rather than guess and put it in the wrong area then you will always know. Meanwhile ask about other fluid entries

The filler hole for most automatic transmissions is the hole for dipstick. A car with an automatic transmission will have two dipsticks: one for the engine, and one for the transmission. The dipstick for the transmission goes into the larger hole since it also serves as the filler hole.To add transmission fluid, remove the dipstick and place a funnel into the hole, add the proper amount of fluid, and replace dipstick. You may be able to find a service manual for you car at a library which will describe the process in better detail.

Its kind of hard to explain. Also it matters if your car is manual or automatic. I would suggest getting the Helm's manual or escpecially the Heyenes because its full of colorful pictures. You can get the Heyenes from any auto parts store. Also here is a link if you want to download a copy of the Helm's manual. Very useful and even a lot of auto shops use it.EDIT. Sorry missed the automatic part. The guy on top of me covered it pretty good.
