YES TO CUSTOMIZE but NO TO A 16 YEAR OLD BOY!!. This car will push him to go over the speed limit every time, tickets will come his way and not to mention an accident. I dont recommend this car for a 16 year old boy.TO GTWANAB-----You are racing the wrong Integras my man. With a muscle car performance has a limit and no fun building since they are too easy. With a tuner the possibilities are endless and fun to build. To Terrence------You know what your talking about. VERY VERY TRUE

It would definately be a fun car for you. However way you drive it is completely up to you. There is no doubt that the car is capable of pulling decently hard... performance parts are abundant especially with the Integra. You can find exhaust systems, headers, air filters, and even cute little accessories to enhance the cosmetic experience. Be careful though... speeding tickets won't be far away.

It's definitely a good car for customization, however, for a 16 year old boy, he is going to need to really take care of that baby. According to statistics, it's one of the most stolen vehicles. (Not sure if it applies to where you are at, but it's a general stats I got from somewhere.) Anyways, what a lucky 16 year old. When I was 16, I had a FOOTMOBILE! I was upgraded to a 1990 Toyota Camry when I turned 18 and eventually saved up enough money to by a nicer car.

hey bro, when i was 16, i had a 2002 mustang GT, no lie still have it too. talk about customizing and performance, its a beast. and it doesnt look ricey either, its true american muscle. thats what you need. trust me. maybe not a mustang GT, but a V6 mustang or camaro ss, or the v6 camaro, formula or trans am firebird as well as the V6 version also.you mod the hell out of anyone of these, whether its a sixer or V8, youll get a great performing car and a little more respect on the road because you wont have those cars i listed pulling up and wanting to race because they know its a easy kill. people will be backing away from you and you will be killing the integras that may challe

Its a nice car. They can be built to go pretty fast and look nice. There are a lot of performance parts available for them. Just make sure to have layers of anti theft like fuel pump kill switch, relocate hood release cable, relocate battery, starter kill switch, jb weld the ignition.

I agree about it being a good car for customizing and performance but at sixteen, it sounds like a lot of car for a new driver. Also, to the guy with the Mustang GT. I know Civics that are street legal that smoke Mustang GTs all the time.If a Civic acan do it, you better believe that an Integra (especially the GSR) will do it. Sure you'll need some upgrades on the GSR to do this but we are talking a 4 cylinder with less than 2.0 liters beating a V8. If that doesn't impress you, nothing will.
