i have an acura rsx and i bought it without a front A emblem. Before purchasing the emblem i asked if it would fit my 2002 rsx NOT type S and the salesperson said yes. i tried putting the emblem on today but the pinholes on the back of the emblem does not match the holes on the car. Im not sure if i was supposed to get an emblem kit or if they sent me the wrong emblem? Is there anything I can do to make the emblem fit on the car without it looking bad?

Check out this link:http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...ll&vinsrch=noI am assuming you went to an Acura dealer to get this part so check out the part number on the bag it came in.According to the link above, the emblem does not attach directly to the front of the car... it attaches to a backing piece that actually attaches to the vehicle.You probably bought the emblem itself, part number 75700-S5N-C00 when you actually wanted both.Print the link above and take it to your dealer so they can sell you the rest of the emblem. Or, and this is what I would do, take it back and order the whole thing from the link above.The whole thing is item 5, part number 75710-S6M-A01 and sells for $24.35This link will also supply anything else your car needs right down to the smallest nut. They charge a nominal handling fee per order so I try to get all I need put in one order. Check your car out close and do the same.Good luck!

you can always just use some double sided tape to stick it on there. As long as you get it on straight, no one will ever know you just taped it on!... Or, as mentioned above, go back to the stealership and get the back piece for it.
