Hi i have an 2004 acura tl. My cd player stopped working all of a sudden. all i see is the backlight that turns on but nothing comes on the screen to listen to music from a cd or fm/am radio? why is that

Does the screen displat.....Errr....?Mine did 2x on my 2003 CL. Both times the stereo unit was replaced free by Acura. The unit was shipped to CA where they returned my CDs. The car was still under warranty. I have not put another CD into it.Go to an Acura dealer for advice.

Hi

I also have an 04 TL with the same CD player anomoly-only the radio works now. I have a friend with the same car (only with the nav package)-same thing, within weeks both cd players stopped working. very suspicious

I'm having the same problem on my 2004 TL. My CD player stopped working. XM/AM/FM radio and cassette player are working fine. When I change to CD player, it shuts down audio player, have to restart the engine to have the radio back up... Please help!!!
