ok so i went to a junk yard to buy a clutch set matched for my acura integra so the guy gave me a stock pressure plate and he gave me an exedy clutch disc i just barely noticed that my question is will it make a difference as far as performance because i have an exedy clutch disc? that brand is known for having performance clutches.

The total cost of clutch replacement is the labor (not the parts).So for another $20 to $40 you can have a decent working clutch. Right now you don't know if your clutch will last 10 miles or 10,000 miles.====the rest is moot. Worn out high performance clutch isn't all that better.Good luck.......

Welp Exedy is a very good clutch, better than stock I should say.. But I got one question? Why the hell you go buy a use clutch set at a junk yard? Its like buying a set of brakes pad at the junk yard. The disc Im not to worried about. I worried about the pressure plate. it might not hold its pressure. If I was you, I'll save the money and go buy a new set. Ebay sell some good racing Clutch set for cheap. under $250 sometime they offer free flywheel with it. ..welp good luck on your clutch.

Why did you purchase a used clutch? New is always better. Besides you don't want to end up changing it a few months down the road when it screws up on you. New is the way to go.
