the car has 193,000 miles on it A.C. still works. I don't want to buy a problem though. Does any one have this car?

I have a 99 TL that I bought about a year ago. I did have to replace the transmission,($1850) but I knew this when I bought the car. The car had 167,000 miles on it when i got it, it now has 180,000 miles on it and I love the car.

I had a 97 TL 2.5 203,000 miles Sold 1 month ago sorry I sold it very strong reliable motor japanese will last a long time if you maintain, check records if maintained well should get at least a couple of years out of ituse OEM Parts not aftermarket makes a difference. Use the mileage as leverage in negotiating a better price

I had the 96 3.2 - great car - bought it in 2000 at 40,000 miles and sold it at 200,000 - it was still running great!!! still miss it - yours would be the 5-cylinder - still very good, but maintenance is more expensive than most cars - be aware of thatThese are very reliable cars - there were some reliability issues (minor) when they were changed in (I think it was) 99 - lot of books said to go back to the 96 and 97s because they were fool-proof - one thing to consider is that it is the older technology air bags - if you get in an accident and it goes off, you'll break your nose for sure - supposed to get it checked anyway after more than 10 years old
