I know that the RDX has a 240 hp turbocharged engine and it has SH-AWD and the TSX has a 200 hp 4 cylinder engine with only front wheel drive. But whould the extra weight the RDX has to pull around make it feel more sluggish than the TSX with a weaker engine?

The TSX has a much sportier ride. It's a sedan, but the RDX is a SUV...a sedan will always have a sportier ride than a SUV. Even a TSX will have better handling and a sportier ride, than any Mercedes AMG SUV

Smaller always means sportier ride because of lighter weight and better center of gravity for better handling.

The Acura TSX would give a sportier ride. Like its brochure says, it has "race-inspired suspension". The car doesn't have the power to beat many cars in the straight-away, but you'd be able to out-do them in the twisties.The RDX is a crossover SUV. Although it has a turbo engine, that turbo is necessary because of all of the extra weight. In other words, the turbo was not added for performance...Even though the TSX is a 205 hp I4 vehicle, that power is just right for the vehicle. The car has some pep and will give you some enjoyment while driving...

TSX for sure!

the TSX is much sportier! I have driven both...the RDX is great, but its still an SUV and its heavy!
