92 integra problem..ignition?
Okay here is the low down. I have an integra. 1992. I recently lost break lights. I originally thought it was the break switch. I went to a mechanic and the fixed it temporarily with a wire from my break switch to what looks to be the wires going into my ignition. In the middle of the wire was a 15 amp fuse. it worked for a little and then the fuse blew. I drove around for a while without break lights. the suddenly today i was driving and my sterio, cigarette lighter and anything to do with my ignition shut off. drove home parked car and now when I go to start it it does nothing, I can hear a realy kick in by the fuse panel inside the car. but will not roll over or anything. i inspected where the mechanic put the fuse on It was blown but the two prong ends of the fuse were touching each other so It was a full connection to wherever it was going. the ignition fuse under the hood was not blown. Just wondering what else could have blown. please help. also the engine is a 98 GSR if that means anything. I have fixed the break lights after the ignition messed up so there is no short anywheres in the break lines. The horn problem was my first thought. My horn would not work. I changed the fuse and my horn and break lights work now but still no rolling of the engine, something other then the ignition fuse has blown. just wondering what other fuseable links may be present
