Regardless of whether or not it's considered a sports car, you're going to spend considerably more on an Acura since it's a 'luxury' or 'premium' brand. I had a 2005 Honda S2000 that I payed $200 a month to insure. I figured when I got my 2003 RSX-S, the premium would go down...nope...now I pay $240 a mo. for the RSX.
