Acura is basically a luxury division Honda sells, but they aren't really a big competition to BMW, and Lexus (would you buy a BMW 5 series or an Acura RL?). Honda is a premium brand that competes with Toyota, Chevy, etc. In Japan, an Acura RL and TSX are sold as Honda Legends and Accords (in some countries) as well as the previous Acura Integra and Acura SLX. I would say to choose a Honda.
