change the transmission

Rebuild the transmission or don't drive the car.

that's the main problem for Acura TL 3.2 from 99 to 03. the problem is: particles block off oil passages and prevent the transmission from shifting or holding gears normally. that suppose to happen between 2-3 gears.but my transmission slips from third to second or the other way sometimes. im not sure why it does it from 1st to 2nd.i would rebuilt but only because i know who will be fixing it. if you buy a different one it will have the same problem.you can still drive it a little. but get it fixed soon.its gonna be from $700...pricey

Oh--I don't think thats good. This is when we had ours replaced. Soon after it started having those little slips is then started to slip really hard. Id rebuild or replace soon.
