5W30 or you could use 10W30 in the summer if you drive in a hot climate.

5w30 is what it should run on but you can use 10w30. for the first answer there is nothing wrong with fram. Honda has fram make their filters anyway

I agree with Azn street racer. Fram makes Honda oil filters. Also, Pennzoil isn't bad either. That's why over 80% of new cars use Pennzoil from the factory- including Honda. At 120,000 miles, 10W30 should be fine.

I have a 93 acure integra with the 1.8L AND a 89 acura integra with the 1.6L .I also live in Texas where it's really hot most of the time , i know they say to use 5w-30 oil ,but i have always used 10w- 30 oil in my cars & my truck as well, i would say to you if you live some where thats is super cold that you may be better off useing 5w-30 oil, it's thinner at start up some it gets threw your motor sooner in the super cold. By the way i always use fram oil filters on my vehicle's.

You can't just switch to a synthetic oil if it hasn't been run in the car before.

Once again, learn a thing or two before you actually try to give people advice.

When I worked at a Honda dealership, Castrol was used. I've heard of Pennzoil being used, but I've heard and experienced that Castrol was more common.

Well I heard castrol has some wax additives in it... As for the synthetic oil change from basic... why can't you do that... I've done that to every care I've ever owned or done for a family... my gf's 02 cavalier did it at 180k now at 200k miles and running strong, 99 silverado at 99k miles now at 130k has a tick but thats the 6.0's problem lol, 06 h3 from 2k to 16k still going good. and my 3 cars did it fine for over 10k miles.. still ahve all of them... sadly 04 cavalier blew a rod because of head blowing =/
