and how do I replace it?

It's in the tank. It's not a regularly serviced filter like older cars. It only needs to be replaced when the fuel pressure drops below a certain pressure. If you want to replace it for preventative maintenance, you'll have to remove the tank and disassemble the fuel pump assembly. BTW the automatic transmission filter is the same way. In order to change it the transmission has to be removed and taken apart.Edit http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...&vinsrch=noThe other guys might be thinking of the 1st gen CL that had the filter on the firewall. 2001-03 CL and CL-S have a different engine and have the filter together with the pump in the tank. That's why you don't find anything about the fuel filter in the owners manual.

It's under the hood on the passengers side fire wall, you should be able to see it when your standing on the passengers side on the car , just like straight down and to your left , it will have two or three line running to it and it round , just un bolt the the line's from the filter and make sure you don't loose the copper washers, you will see that it's just setting in a bracket that you need to loosen up so the filter will pull out.

On the firewall.You need a 12mm and a 17mm wrench to loosen fittings.Safe to change with car off, some spillage, minor.Takes about 20 minutes.Disconnect battery before starting the job and it's safer if the engine is cold.
