A TSX has 4 cylinders, whereas a TL has 6 cylinders. A RSX type s has a similar horsepower rating to a TSX, but it's lighter (RSX is the successor of the integra, and the TSX is based on the european accord). The top speed of a TSX is about 143 mph. However, in 6th gear, the car accelerates really slow from 100 mph to 143 mph.The TSX won't accelerate as good as a car with 2 more cylinders, nor will it accelerate as good as a lighter car with the same amount of power. However, it is peppy and the acceleration is decent for the average driver. For me, it pulls hard enough and gets me up to 85 mph fast enough. (I have Hondata though, which is an ECU reflash which removes Acura's conservative profile and unleashes more power from the engine.)
