How hard is it to take the vtech out of an integra and rebuild it for Performance? New pistons, crank, and just 100% rebuild on it then add on a turbo? I want to do this all myself I have tools and will need to buy an engine jack and a few others. I also plan on reading a few books about the engine and then getting a step-by-step guide of rebuilding it. I want to do this as a side project and eventually have a killer street car. Any other advice for me? Thanks.

Vtec what (notice there is no h in there--Vtech makes phones, Honda uses Vtec)? B16? GSR? Get rid of Vtec by going to a B18A/B?

Chances are if you are asking how hard it is to do it, you have little to no experience working on a motor. So the answer to your question is, it is very, very difficult.

Bring it to a reputable builder with a blank check and let them know what you want out of it, or just buy a swap that is already built.
