How long do these motor last for . im a Honda guy but only to H,B and D series motor. Im not familiar to these new motor im planning on buy a TL i just want to know how good is the motor and tranny auto and stick on them. Thank You

At least 300,000 miles.They are great cars. That never have problems.Honda's so called transmission problems were only with the late 90's to early 2000's cars and they were fixed with a recall.So you have nothing to worry about.If you don't take much care of your car, it would last 300,000 miles.If you take care of it, it should reach 400,000 miles and go beyond.Tchnology and longetivity of cars has changed greatly in the past 10 years.

Well, I only have a 2000 3.2 TL but mine has got 140,000 miles on it and it runs great, haven't had too much maintenance on it even though I neglect it quite a bit since I'm in college and money is tight. I'd assume they've only gotten better in the more recent years. I know when I sell this one, it will only be to buy a newer Acura, probably a TL or MDX.Also, my mother drove her 1990 Vigor 'til it had 300,000 miles before the maintenance cost started going up and she sold it to a 16-y.o. and got a brand new RL. In my opinion, Acura's are the best cars all-around. Although I will note me and my mother both drive A LOT of freeway miles, you may notice that the miles are pretty high for how many years we drove our cars.Hope this helps

acura are very good cars. my 2002 tl has never had any problem. it has 235 000 km on it already. just maintain it well, and it won't let you down. etc..oil change, transmission fluid change
