I'm just curious of any large differences between the two as far as the features on the vehicles go. Thank you!

The only difference is the price due to depreciation.

There are none except that you'll enjoy another year of depreciation with the 05.

They have a few new colors with the 2006 model.

engine is the same thing. but the 2006 theres a TYPE- S model. and 06 to 08 comes with standard foglights

The only difference between the two years are: A few different colorsTire Pressure Monitoring SystemEngine management system to help reduce torque steerEngine was rerated at 258 hp (old was 270 hp) due to new, stricter engine rating system - the engine was identical to the '04 and '05 engines.FYI: the 3rd generation TL didn't get the larger optional engine of the Type-S until the '07 &'08 model years.
