Bout a new shift boot. I want to remove the stock boot and replace it with the one i bought. Hoping to NOT have to remove the center console, but if I have to, whatever no biggie. Anyone know how/what to do?

You're gonna have to remove the center console.Usually folks at stereo places know which screws to undo to get to it, but look from the stereo down. Usually it is not just the part the shift boot is on, but the entire center console, from stereo down...

I put a boot in my 02 rsx-s, its simple. just snap out the part of the center console that has the boot, starts by the cupholder/tray and ends up by the break handle. Snap that part out and pop off the little silver piece around it, untie the staples and switch the boots out. Then put it all back together. You DON'T have to take the center console apart, just that one piece.
