ok so i have a 1995 acura legend GS and i have a problem with the telescopic steering wheel..it will go in and out, but not up and down and it is stuck in this high position that isnt very comfortable for driving and it wont go down...i went to a shop and they said that you have to take the whole steering column apart and it will be VERY expensive..is there any other way to fix this.....and i have another problem..the power window on the driver side goes up and down VERY slow..something with the window regulator...how to i make it not go so darn slow?please help!thanksThanks for the info Eric, but what do u mean by a collision center?

You may not be able to repair the tilt feature on the colum affordably.I suggest a 2nd opinion from a collision center.You window is likely binding in it's rubber guide track.Get a can of silicone clear spray(very common) and wet a corner of a folded paper towel. Work the wet corner of the paper towel into the rubber trim that your window sits in. Make sure the towel remains moist. Make a few passes with the window down and then raise it. It should go up rather easily now. Over time these channels get dirty and will bind the glass overworking the window regulator and the motor. Do all your doors now at least 3 times a year.
