Hi There,I am wondering if I will notice an increase in performance and speed with a 2002 Acura RSX Base. I have been driving a 2001 Dodge Neon for the last two years and am pretty used to that. Never drove anything else before. I am wondering if the performance will be a decent increase. I know the car overall is a great car and a huge improvement but just wondering performance specifically. Both AutoJust to be clear all I'm wondering is if there will be a noticable difference while I drive this car compared to a Dodge Neon. Will there be a noticable amount of acceleration and speed. your comparing apples and oranges... dodge is a company on the verge of chaper 11 becasue they make desposible cars while acura is a semi-luxary car in a class all of its own... i suggest reading up on the technology honda puts in there engine on wikipedia or something... make sure you understand what ivtec is and how it works.

HUGE DIFFERENCEthe acura is fast and handles much better...my best friend had one and it was sick...had a mt tho

you will notice a big difference, the rsx base model has 160hp stockthe neon came with the option of a 132hp sohc engine and one engine that had 150hp stockthe rsx has much better handling it has a sport tuned suspension while the neon is just a regular commuter car..plus the ivtec on the k20 engine will make it much funner to drive, better accleration, speed etc..
