Default acura integra problems..?

when i start my 1988 acura integra RS makes a sound like metal is being shaved. it only does this when it hasn't been started over night or something like a 5hr period. Is it a loose belt or what is it????

Default Re: acura integra problems..?

If it is a loose metal rattling sound, your timing belt may be getting loose from wear. Screeching metal to metal sound might be the distributor bearing locking up.
