type R:Engine B18C5 (found in usdm model) are hand quality built in Japan. The car is little bit lighterStiffer suspensionfor track ready useGSR:Engine B18C1 are massive production factory built.More comfortable for every day drivingbut they're still both same car, you can mod gsr anyway.

The engine specs and suspension are the main difference. http://www.team-integra.net/sections...rticleID=43the Type-R uses the RS trim level which is the lightest because it doesnt have all the features like moonroof, power locks, A/C, ABS ect. the GSR has all of that stuff on it which makes it heavier somewhat

About 15HP.The Type R is more powerfu, faster, has a larger rear wing, and slightly better handling with the stiffer suspension. Only comes in manual transmission.
