and it jumped a curb. It drove home fine but the next time I tried to drive it I could not get it to go into gear. I checked the fluids already. What is wrong with my car?

The shift linkage is probably bent to hell underneath your car

if your car is 5 speed, your shift linkage most likely came loose.if your car is auto, the throttle cable may have also came loose.in either scenario, check your passenger side axle.
