Default any suggestion for performance upgrades for acura rsx base, keeping in mind fuel economy?

w/ specific brands pls that would really fit with the car, just light performance mods though nothing very pricey and extreme.

usually fuel ecomony goes up with light performance mods...stuff like:IntakeHeadersCat-Back ExhaustEDIT: mr.noname is right but his hp stats are over exagerated. you will get more horespower, better throttle response and better low end power or top end power depending on if its a Cold or short ram intake. short ram is better for low speed pickup but cold air has better than stock lowspeed pickup as well as higher top end

1 an intake, trust me any kind of an intake WAI or Cai will improve your fuel consumption and will get you 16-25hp gain, not you can go with a short ram intake (wai) since its sitting in the enging bay will suck hot air so not much of a hp gain and will improve fuel consumption a little and will give a beefy sound (you'll love it)but a CAI is very effective and hard to install since it goes behind the bumper so you have to cut holes on the inner fender, this will give you 20-25hp and will improver fuel consumption but have to be careful since water can be sucked in so will have to stay away from puddlesnow for the brands some companies liek AEM, Ingen ect... make good intaked but very pricy and you can make one your self for fraction of the price autozone sell the pipes made by spectre thats what i used in my maxima, so get tose pipes put one by your self and use a k&n AEM or specte air filter

Just drop the car and put some sweet rims on it!!!! you dont really want to put aftermarket parts on because the more you put on the more you're gonna want more!and the more you put on the more you loose gas!!!!
