Default yellow highbeam for integra?

so i went to LA auto show and they sold me a pair of yellow bulbs for my highbeamssince ive seen these on some other tegs i gave it a try.it looks great but is it ILLEGAL to drive with it on?so in a sense sacrificing my regular highbeams became my yellow fogs rite?i got a 98 integra...so is making my high beams yellow and driving with it on illegal?i live in so-cal btwmy high beams are yellow, not my regular driving lightsi heard from other integra owners its OK to use ur highbeam as a fog light by changing it to yellow because the yeollw will be dim enoguh to not blind oncoming drivers.these are aftermarket so no directions what so ever. lol

driving with your Hi beams on alone is illegal.yellow or blue lights are also illegal in Cali.but it all comes down to how big of a dik the cop is.read the packageing of your lights.. it usually reads "for offroad use only" ....... which means is not meant for the street.

i also live in california and those lights are illegal dmv statesacutally chp states)Blue and yellow headlights. Headlights must be white - blue and yellow are illegal (24011 VC). Look for the DOT symbol on the bulb and package.and VC is Vehicle Code, its a law.i saw the update still it depends if the cop is a jerk or not, he wont care that there high or low beams.its ok depending on where you live ca is harsh for no yellow. i dont think they blind other drivers either and do like them though.

it is illegal here in california, what most of us integra owners do is "city lights" you need to drill into your high beam houseing and but the bulb in there. also people use yellow paint. i forget which kind to be exact though.. anyway enough of my talking here is a write up. hope it helps you out http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1716378i doubt you will get pulled over though
