I have a 2003 Acura RSX with 64K on it, but my question is occasionally when I shift through gears it feels rough like there are bumps while shifting to that gear. It never grinds while shifting through the gears just sometimes has that rough feeling where it is not smooth. Has anybody else experienced this?

a few ideas:1>Your clutch cable may need a minor adjustment. If it engages too high after a few years of normal wear, it is possible that sometimes you rush (and miss) a shift.2>When the car is cold, it takes mine a few minutes to warm up the engine and transmission. During that time, you shouldn't force the gear lever. Shift gently and slowly until it warms up and loosens.3>My old integra had a (cheap and replaceable) bushing in the shift gate and it was wearing with time. replacing it cost almost nothing and restored that "new car feeling" on the gear lever. the rsx may have a similar bushing. Mine is a 2002 and still shifts smoothly so I haven't looked into it...4>if all esle fails, ask your acura dealership to have a look next time you bring it in for scheduled maintenance. your baby deserves it!

Check that you have sufficient hydraulic fluid in the clutch cylinder.
