Okay. Uhm the fact that its a A not a C (type) is actually good because you are running lower compression, and that is *thumbs up* when it comes to boost.No need to build up. Just have engine management and do a proper tune...I'll say it again PROPER TUNE! You should be able to run 8-10psi no problem....TUNE!Cheers.just a fun fact. A Porsche turbo II runs about 6.8 compression as opposed to the NA type S motor which runs at 11.0.

you can turbo a b18b1 motor no problem, to what the previous kid said, a B18c is a VTEC motor, b18B1's are found in all other integras after 94 or 95. You would need a proper tune, better injectors, engine management software, in your case hondata S100 or s300, a competent dyno shop that can tune the vehicle for you. you will need to upgrade your clutch. The actual internals can handle 8-10 psi no issue but that depends on the mileage of your motor, your piston rings could be worn out, bearings on their way out, its advised to replace those as well before you make your car work twice as hard

You should be able to push at least 8 pds. of boost no problem, that is safe for stock internals. You wont do damage or hurt anything internally. If you want to push more boost, i recommend getting upgraded internals and maybe injectors as well. Just know that a good tune up is required after installing your turbo, maybe a couple of hours on the dyno would be sufficent. Good luck!

H22A? People make it sound like H22A is the best engine honda made, truth is the total opposite. H22A is like FORD of honda engines, which means it's the crappiest honda engine out there. Anyway, I think turboing the B18A will be much better than the crappy H22A.
