integra gsr turbo? idk what to do i have a 91 integra ls awith 167k miles and then i found a 94 integra gsr with 260k miles idk whether to turbo my ls or get the gsr and rebuild it and turbo it. i have another ? when u rebuild the motor like new pistons and cams and valves and valve spring and retainers stuff like that does that put your motor back at 0 mile or what how does it really work

i believe the ls is better cause of the ls tranny. ls tranny has longer gears so you can boost longer. but gsr has vtec. the best thing to do is Ls vtec with ls tranny then turbo charge

Make the gsr into an all motor killer. These engines are an absolute thrill when done right WITHOUT a turbo. thinner head gasket, stage 2 cam kit, headers, software, and a type r manifold should be most of what you need. Make the ls into your turbo drag car. Build it with a sleeved block, 8.5/1 dish top pistons, forged crank and rods, arp fasteners, and you'll need new camshafts, valvesprings and retainers. For a turbo build up this should be fine to run about 17psi. Get a dart block ($2400) and you can run up to 25. For a quality build expect to spend about 6000 for parts only. don't forget to upgrade the clutch and cv shafts.
