My car alarm was going off at random times sometimes in the middle of the night so i disconnected the battery one night. then the next morning when i connected it again and started the car up the radio would not work. I called acura and got the code entered it and it still would not work. I got this faint beeping sound. the sound happened with other random codes i entered. Also today I tried to unhook the batter again and start fresh and punch in the code. Still didn't work. Is there a special way to punch in a code? Does anyone have any ideas or know what could be the problem? All suggestions welcome!

yes..you have to hold down certain buttons when you enter the code. Your manual would have the buttons you need to hold, if you don't have that manual you will have to call Acura back and ask...Legends are old and I no longer remember the buttons.
