Are Acura's Good Cars?
My dad passed away 2 months ago. He left me his car. It is a 2004 Acura RL. I Know it looks nice, but are Acura's good cars? Do they have good pick-up? I dont want anybody to think I am taking advantage of my situation with my dad, I am just wondering and have been trying to get into other things to get my mind off of it.By the way I am 17

Acura is a very good car. Sorry about your dad. I just lost my dad about three months ago. It's shocking. If you want to know more about the car look it up and the type (on the net) - you will have all kinds of different people's opions. I have found things like that very helpful.

Acuras, which are made by Honda are EXCELLENT cars when it comes to quality, no.1 with Honda and Toyota and Lexus. They are all the best quality cars made today. I have a '03 Accord Coupe, 5 years old the only problem I've had so far is the back light on the passenger side seat heater rocker switch went out. The seat still heats just the back light went out. I'd love to get a BMW next but this Honda quality has me real spoiled.

yeah there are great cars, after all it is Honda. i had a 94 integra with over 250k miles and it still ran like a champ =]. its easy to maintain also. very very little problkems with it

Acuras are great cars down the line. They are made by Honda, and Honda cars are among the best in reliability among all car manufacturers. So when you hear of a Civic or Accord owner who had his or her car for 250K miles and going on, you can expect the same for your RL. I own a 2007 TSX, and it is a beast. I also have a 1998 Accord with 200K on it and it's still going!

Yes, Acura's are great cars.Acura is the luxury line of Honda.Lexus is the luxury line of Toyota.Infiniti is the luxury line of Nissan.You get the reliability of Honda, and you get a better deal than if you buy the luxury line of another manufacturer (e.g., lexus makes you pay for stuff that acura gives standard).The RL is the top of the line of the Acura line up. You can't get any better than that one.

Sorry to hear about your father. Since I am sure he took excellent care of the acura it will last a long time. I am the proud owner of a 06 acura tsx, bought new 11.17.06. It has 62,000+problem free miles. I have all the maintenance done by a acura dealer. I feel most cars are reliable, including the hyundai, if properly maintained and not abused. I own a 05 hyundai, bought new, that has 80,000+problem free miles. Good luck to you.
