i have a stock engine in my 1990 acura integra rs and i wanted to get some more hp out of it so i wondering if i could get a integra type-r head or something to that extent, and if so where could i order one?

May find the part you need from www.junkyarddog.com they had the parts I needed when when I was looking, give'em a try.

Yes, you could get an Intergra Type R head and put it onto your ls block, you would be doing what is called an ls/vtec but for the price of a type r head you could get a b16 head and a b16 transmission and have yourself a "poor mans type r" But you need to drill extra oil holes to be able to put a vtec head on a non-vtec block. Most tuner shops sell ls/vtec conversion kits which include the extra oil line that you will need to run.

Ls vtec if done right will cost around $1400 plus labor. You can't just buy a VTEC head and throw it on, it doesn't work that way. You might just want to boost it (turbo). LS (any B-series that is not vtec) blocks take boost really well. You should be able to run 6-8lbs of boost on the stock internals which will put you over the 200hp mark. Plus you can have the cool sounding blow off valve.
