I am getting an Acura Integra GSR and I was wondering what mods (mechanical) I should get. I most likely wont be able to afford a turbo for about a year but I was thinking of getting an AEM cold air intake, DC headers, and a new exhaust. Mainly smaller things but what else besides a turbo/supercharger should I get. Oh and don't respond with something like- Don't buy an Integra you should buy a ______.

Changing your sparkplugs would get you the same result.And only 8 torque, which really matters, since that's what gets your car moving.That's simply absurd. You're spending more than $150 per torque gained.And no, a gain of 13 horsepower, will not be noticeable to a driver. You may drive the car harder, which will make it seem faster, but people usually can't notice anything under about 20hp. Which is why they don't notice the loss from not having regular oil changes, etc.I won't tell you to buy another car.But I will tell you that you're about to waste a lot of money.And you don't have to take my word for it, you can see for yourself.So, now you're into it the cost of your car (which should be around a few thousand), plus 1200$, and you're about 15 horsepower less, and 40 torque less than a bone stock 1995 Eclipse GST. Which can be bought for around $2500-3000.Like I said, won't tell you to buy another car. But there's definitely cheaper, and more intelligent routes to go.
