Default 1999 Acura anyone know where I can find the connector to put the code detector?

Couldn't find it under dash-it wasn't under the passenger seat. Could it be under the hood someplace? Thanks for any info on this.

it should be somewhere under the steering wheel.

In center console,below radio and bottom of ashtray,behind a cover.
