Nope, that's an engine off of an Non VTEC engine. It's suppose to be a B18C1. Guess it was swapped out before you bought it. My friend has a b18b1 and it's off of an Integra LS

your engine has 140hp, if someone sold you that car, and told you that it was a VTEC, then they were wrong. If the car was an original GSR, and they put an LS engine back inside of it you would be able to tell by this. The first 6 digits of the VIN# of any GSR or any integra that came with a VTEC engine from the factory, Type-R included...is JH4DC2. If your VIN has that, they you actually have a GSR body, without the engine.

here are multiple situations that may've happened:-you bought a gsr integra however probably the gsr was stolen and its gsr motor was removed, then the previous owner (because its cheaper) just put in a b18b1 engine and fooled you or you never bothered to ask-the previous owner was trying to do a LS/VTEC setup so that way he can slap on a turbo charger and get more torque and the pistons are bigger in b18b enginesthe b18b1 (rs, ls, gs, se) engine has 140hp stock while the b18c1 (gsr) engine has 170hp.if you want to know where your b18c1 engine went contact the previous owner and get on it quickly. this could go either good or badif you were deciding to switch to a b18b because of turbo then this is a good thing, however if you wanted that gsr motor then you got gypped. sorry but next time check the motor first, models aren't badged differently just for the hell of it, there are DISTINCT changes in the models that make them unique from others. and you sir made a really amateur mistake.

The engine's horsepower is 142 @ 6300 rpm. people please, do your research before posting information. Every site include honda's own website states is 142 horsepower. go to honda's official news site: Acura Media Newsroom: 1994 Acura Integra- Specifications and u can get there through honda by going honda.com then site maps then media and press and you'll find it. so please! get the offical info and research all the online site (automsn,emunds,consumerreport,cars.com,yahooauto, track&road,canadiandriver,....about 20 or so reputable sites) before posting
