can you install a v-tec block on a non v-tec engine or would i have to swap the whole engine out??can you install a v-tec block on a non v-tec engine or would i have to swap the whole engine out?? i dot really digg the idea of buying a new one i like my coupe :] EJ1!!

the block has NOTHING to do with VTEC. VTEC is Honda's variable valve timing technology. Valves are in the cylinder head, cams are above the heads in overhead cam engines. Swapping in a VTEC block doesn't give you VTEC. I like EJ1s as well but if you want to do any sort of engine swap or conversion make it a B18C swap.
