Default acura integra ls 1996?

is it that only integra makes lot of engine sound or all the integras are designed in this way?i have been thinking that it is designed for a sporty friend commented on the engine sound but i told him that its a sporty car and hence the sound..but i am not sure if this is right car has only 75000 miles on it and i just bought it a week ago..also the sound system sucks..if i want to go for a new one like may be under 100 dollars,,is it possible?i will appreciate the help.

does your car have an aftermarket intake system?if it does then theres gonna be alot of engine sound, which sounds cool. I personally like the engine sound from a Honda.well u can upgrade all 4 speakers for about $'ll sound a lil nicer with some decent speakers.but to get a nice sound system u need about 350-500. then you'll really notice a difference,.

It may have some kind of aftermarket muffler or exhaust system installed on it that would make it louder. A lot of young kids like to rice Integras out like this.

what do you mean by the engine you mean how it revs or is there noises coming from the engine itself...the integra does suck in a good amount of air so it does have a good tone to it...but if your talking about the ticking noise, then thats from your just needs to be adjusted...its common to readjust the valves on the b18 every 70k miles....and to upgrade your system to a good one that is under 100 dollors would just be for a good deck to put in...or some better side speakers....but a good system will cost you about 3-600 dollors...

its most likely modified some under the hood, with an intake or something, my integra was pretty quiet until i started to modify it, or when it was stock and i would rev it up =]. you could possibly get a good deck for under 100 but i doubt it. i put over 5K into electronics in my integra before it got totaled last month =[, which was the sadest day of my life so farjoin to get help with your teg. its free so why not?
