Default Anyone know roughly how much it costs to replace an a/c condenser on a 2001 Acura Integra?

Went to get the a/c fixed and was told I have a huge leak and need a new condenser. Want to know if I should bother...

The condenser itself isn't too expensive, it's the other things that will likely need attention to properly repair your A/C..You'll need a Drier/Accumulator, you likely have old high pressure hoses depending on the age of the vehicle and they should be replaced, also if you want a trouble free A/C, also you may need a new orifice and I would inspect closely and examine the evaporator core also... The evaporator is usually the one the goes first, so if your condenser has a hole in it, I would be suspect of the evaporator also...I think you should check all these things out and make sure if you're going to get it fixed, you might as well do it right, then the system has to be vacuumed down and oil and freon added and charged properly...A rough estimate of the items I mentioned and labor and freon...somewhere in the 1000.00 range...
