i recently got one, and i was wondering how yours performs, even after all these yearsmine has 160000 miles on it, but runs great for its ageim just curious as to how others perform after 18 years if they generally are reliable cars and if there are any potential problems i should look out foroh, and for manual ones, how reliable is the clutch and shifter?

I don't personally have this car but my friend does only it's a 1989....i don't know a lot about cars but on August 2nd her and i were in a bad automobile accident and it saved our lives...(or something did Amen) after the accident her mom had said the only reason they bought it was because they'd heard it was a safe car. We also know an aquaintance that had the same car and survived a bad accident. Our car was completely totalled but we both ended up with just stiches and scraps..no broken bones where as the van with airbags and not much damage had broken bones. I can't say much about problems but i just thought i'd let you know that it's safe from what i've heard. Its a miracle to be alive and i'm thankful we're both "ok"

yup. I have 210,000 miles on it and it is still running. You just have to watch out for the usuals. I have replaced the timing belt twice and distributor once.
