Default 1993 acura integra with type R?

just saw one the other day, and wondering why it had type had on the back of it?didnt they make type R's in 1997?i know maybe the guy might have put it on the back for some reason but is there a different reason?

Probably no reason other than the owner wanted to slap that "R" sticker on there to prove that he is worthy of being called a Ricer.

it could just be the emblem.. ppl think it looks cool etc etc.. Or they made an addition to their car resembling a type r .its really dumb though to have the emblem unless you have a r motor. but like i said ppl just like it for show and its real silly to show offf something you dont have.. hope this helps hon

Well to tell you, Honda/Acura didnt make the Type-R for USDM 90-93 acura/honda integras. (chassis code DA) The Type-R started in 1997 with the newer 94-01 integras (chassis code DC [2 door] /DB [4 door])The Type-R started in america in 1997-2001. (Excluding 1999.)SO the guy you seen with the Type-R could be an emblem, or he could just be a ricer. I would laugh at him.
