The best looking high luxury car that Acura makes is the 05-08 RL.The new one is better mechanically with performance and luxury, but it is uglier because of what they did with the front Grill.

This is an EXTREMELY subjective discussion...beauty always lies in the eye of the beholder...Acura (Honda) has smart people who perform their due diligence in designing vehicles that will sell. Undoubtedly they run focus groups & survey their customer base. I drive a TL, and like many Acura new car buyers, I participated in a long survey re thoughts on what the next model should look like. One thing about Acuras (& Hondas)...this is impossible to quanitfy, but I must say that their designs tend to 'grow' on you. I was less excited about the new TSX, and then caught a glimpse of one on the road, and must admit that there's something nice about it. Also, Acura's new direction in styling seems more in voque with the harsher, 'edgy' look that's already been selling well among certain domestic Dodge, Cadillac & Nissan models...sharp edges, rogue, 'bad ass' machine images...apparently, that's what sells. I'm with you, I tend to go for the more sedate, and classy lines that some of the prior Acura models typify, but the industry is all about introducing new directions for the public to grab ahold of. I don't fault Acura for it's efforts...it's a superb brand & a great product!
