Acura & the automotive industry refer to the TL as an 'entry level luxury sport sedan'. Though it's built off the same assembly line as the Accord, Honda's inovated enough distinctive between the two cars to afford the TL it's label. The industry compares it (favorably) against other entry level & luxury sport sedans as the:- G35- IS350 (TL Type S is closest here)- BMW 528 / 530- Cadillac CTS- Volvo S80 class...and a handlful of others.

Yes.All Acura's are luxury cars. Their least luxurious car is the Acura RSX, which is a more of a luxurious coupe.Acura is a luxury brand like Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Infiniti, Audi, and Cadillac. They only make luxury cars.Luxury means it has leather, power seats and windows and locks and alarm. Powerful engine, smooth and quiet ride. Cd player, radio, and A/C.A Luxury car has all of those things. An Acura TL has all of those things and much more.A Honda Accord LX is not a luxury car, but a Honda Accord EX-L is a luxury car.
