Default Can a wife repoessed ?

I have a question can a wife seized ones new car in falling behind support payments myens is saying that she will have my 2007 Acura RSX seized if i don't catch up on payments.Sorry 2006 I meant.

she could if court agrees....with out court order she cant do squat

If the car is in your name and you are relying on her to make the payments and she doesn't make them for so long then yes it can be repossessed cause whoever is the owner of the car is responsible for it not your wife.

If she's making the payments then yes, she can have the car repossessed (if its in her name) but if its in yours then no, she cannot have it reposessed so long as your making the payments.However, with Child Support laws if she takes you to court they can rob you of everything. According to the courts, you only need enough money to have a cardboard box and some bread and sandwich meat. They are completely unreal and total mother ****ers. If you dont have a job, then they will just take you to jail for non payment anyway. dicks!

only if she gets some kind of court order allowing her to do so. I thought they stopped making the acura rsx with the 06 model year.

depends where you live. if she's making the payments and/or the car is in her name then yes.but i have no idea how you have a 2007 RSX when the last of which rolled out in 2006.

no such thing as a 2007 RSX...they quit making them for the 2006 model year...also this is NOT a car's a law question.If her name is on the car and you aren't making support payments, she can go to court and they will take all your property.
