hi, i just bought an 2002 rsx type-s, it was all stock when i bought it. any advice on maybe making it faster or look better than it already is ( not saying its not good already) should i start with regular intake and exhaust mod. i want to know what you guys think, maybe list the price if possible.

look. dont follow the typical street racer wananbe mantality. FOR STARTERS. i would decide on what u want first. show or performance. its kinda hard 2 do both at the same time. but id personally go engine. 1. ur car looks stock which will cause a lot less attention to u. how about maybe an intake, head work, and a bottom end upgrade 4 a turbo or a supercharger if u got a couple of gran 2 spare. if not then go with a nice set of wheels. try going jdm or type r with it. carbon fiber evo hood and hatch. just look online and ull get alot of ideas

theres nothing wrong with starting with the intake and exhaust. thats were just about every1 begins. you should also get headers too. then go for a set of rims and lowering springs. you cant go wrong with carbon fiber, so get a hood. =]prices vary from which products you get but keep in mind buying things cheap( like from eBay) wont last every long and youll have to put in more moneyfor the interior get a set of Type-R or Type-S speakers, replace the headunit get an amp if thats not already done. and tint looks great on that car too

i'd go performance because honestly its all about the sleeper look. i hate when people put stupid ass vinyls or decals or gt spoilers on their civics. looks gross. sleepers are awesome cuz everyone wants to race you cuz they think you're stock then when it goes down and you pass them up like nothing they wont even know what the hell hit them. theres two choices bro either going all motor or force induction. its really hard to do both at the same time so you just gotta make the choice. if you wanna lightly tune your car to make it pretty fast and gain about 50-70whp then go all motor, plus you wouldnt really sacrifice any driveability with going all motor, it'll just feel stock and very fast. however if you wanna see hella numbers like gaining +100whp then go force induction, preferrably turbocharger. just make sure you start off with getting an ECU first to help tune it right to get better numbers and with this your rsx will be hella fast. if you wanan go show then just do the dc5 jdm conversion its simple and fast but you'll get keyed sooner or later
