If I remember correctly...Acura's are Honda's....like Lexus is Toyota and Infiniti is Nissan.

there both good cars.....but think of power to weight here....tegs are heavier than the civic hatch. put a bigger motor in the hatch....power with little weight. now the sedan civic and coupe are roughly about the same weight as the teg so it would be just your opinion on which one you want to get.......remember its your car not ours

i have both an integra and a civic. they both have decent power when stock, the integra has tons of mods for it though. i use my integra as mmy dialy driver well because i prefer to, i also race with it all the time. as far as maintence they both are pretty cheap as long you dont do to much damage to it or let it go for long periods of time with out it

Honda Civic is better than acura integra because it has more space and civic's engine is more poweful.

well if you were comparing the same years (lets say integ 95 with a civic 95) then the integra has more power. if you want power i'd go with an integra unless you were getting the new civics that had the k20a2 or k20z1 then i'd go with a civic. cuz the civics that didnt come with the k motor usually came in the b motor or d motor. integras came with only the b18 motors and the older gen had like da engines or something. but yeah i'd go with an integra if you were going 94-01 but if you want just get an rsx type s those are great and hella better

look for your first car. dont worry about swapping engines, about torque and modifications. get a car thats gets u around til u learn more about what your driving. for that the inetgra is better. even thought its "almost" the same engine wise atleast. integra is the higher end of the civic.a lil more luxury.my first car was an 87 integra then a 94 then now i have a 95 and a 96. get the picture out of all three only the 87 was junked due to bent valves and the car wasnt worth the money for the repair. other than that ive had no problem. theyll low maintnace aslong as u dont wait to the last minute 2 get it wwhat it need (wit quality 2).

Since Acura is just Honda in a suit, the Integra can be looked at as a fancy Civic with more features, premium brand and different look. But, the integra has usually been ahead of the game until the new Civic SI came out.Unless you're speaking of the brand new Civics, the Integra will have noticeably more power. Maintenance is preferably the same with both cars.

Both maintance are the same, for your first starter car something with good power and something that is a good platform to start on would be a 1992-1995 civic Si hatch back or even 1992-1995 EX SOHC 125HP
