i was just wondering what does Acura TL takes either REGULAR or PREMIEM. will it affect i use REGULAR???? because i live in TX and the gas is going up and up and i really would get this car or Lexus IS300 but IS300 also takes Premium..please tell me

Premium gas.Cars with powerful engines require premium gas.If a small 4 cylinder engine had more than 180HP or a turbocharger that gives it more power, then it needs premium gas.Same with bigger engines that have more power than they should.

The TL take premium gas. Nearly all higher-end cars take premium gas, so if you're going to be driving a Lexus or an Acura with a VTEC engine, get used to the premium. If you are feeling tight on money, then be smart - get a Honda, or a Toyota if you will. You may permanently damage a TL's engine by running regular gas. I've heard of people having to replace their engines because they used regular instead of premium (b/c they were supposed to use premium). If that happens to you, where will all that money that you saved by using regular gas go? Will those few bucks you save add up to the cost of a new engine? Probably not....
